INTRODUCTION
This study is a part of Russian-American-Finnish scientific collaboration within of 3 year program "Health and Exposure Surveillance of Siberian Asbestos Miners" between the Moscow Institute of Occupational Health of the Russian Academy of Medical Science (RAMS), Ekaterinburg Medical Research Centre (EMRC), the National Institute Occupational Health (FIOH).
CONCLUSIONS
All identified fibres were chrysotile. No amphibole fibres were detected in ore, product, or dust samples. Quartz (SiO2) was below 1 weight-%.
